Miles: 2.4 (intervals, treadmill)

Activity: Strength – Foundation
How It Felt: It felt soooo good to pick up the pace during the intervals. I’m excited to get my base back up a bit before my official training begins. Strength training felt good, even if I was a little tired.
Commentary: Today was a great day! Not only did I get two good workouts in, but I also finished painting my yoga room! I haven’t pulled up the plastic drop cloth yet because I might move our chop saw in there so I can make a meditation alter. We shall see.
I also joined a friend for a sound bath tonight. I wasn’t quite sure what it was, but I decided to go anyway. It was amazing! The lady played these beautiful bowls, which made relaxing yet powerful music. Her son played didjeridu while she played a drum. And at the end there was a gong, but not just one loud thumb on a gong. It was more like a serious of harmonic vibrations. It’s hard to explain.
Anyway, now that I’m all relaxed, I think it’s time for me to get ready for bed.
