Strength Training: Back & chest
How It Felt: Running again felt so fucking good! And hitting the weights again felt equally good. So happy to be back at it!
Commentary: As soon as my feet starting pounding pavement I started smiling. I missed running. I missed starting my day with the sun coming up and the sounds of the river.
My gym workout felt a lot harder than it should have. But I reminded myself I only worked out a handful of times in May. Although the workout was hard, I still added some extra exercises because I felt it, lol.
And I must say I’m pretty proud of myself for realizing that alcohol was sapping my motivation. A few days without it and my motivation is back and going strong.
