Footloose, well, heel loose…
Date: 4/22/21
Training Day: 90
Miles: 3.5
Time: 40 min
Shoes: Altra Paradigm 5
Weather: N/A (indoors on a treadmill)
Strength Training: Legs
How It Felt: The run felt sooooo good! I had way more energy because I actually slept more than seven hours last night! Oh yeah! After four weeks of the same leg workout, it’s starting to grow on me. I feel strong doing the exercises, and now I kind of hope my personal trainer doesn’t spice things up next week, lol.

Commentary: My feet are different sizes. That sounds weird. Each foot is a different size. One foot is bigger than the other. You get the idea.
I’ve noticed that it feels like my right heel slips in the shoe while I run. And I haven’t done shit about the observation. But I feel like I should. For my run on Saturday I plan to do that thing with the extra hole for your shoelaces to tighten my shoe around my heel.
Although I have no idea if this loose heel thing affects my running our not, I’d like to find out. I also don’t know how it affects my running, but I’ve also noticed that my right leg is tighter and more sore after runs than the left. We shall see!
