Helping out

Miles: 2.9
Shoes: Brooks Adrenaline GTS 21
Weather: High 30s
How It Felt: The run felt sooooo good! I think picking up the pace yesterday must have done me some good.
Commentary: Yesterday I forgot to mention how sore my upper body was from Body Pump on Tuesday. While running around the Greenbelt it was all I could do to not let my arms flop at my sides like noodles. It wasn’t that bad today, thankfully.
This morning, for the first time since I got my Garmin, my VO2 max was 46! I don’t know how accurate this is, but it find it exciting nonetheless.

I had all intentions of doing a leg workout this evening. But a friend of mine is doing a virtual 50k tonight. It starts at 10:30pm, and it’s three laps of 11 miles each. I want to support him, but I also don’t want to run that.
Instead, I got my new mountain bike ready, and I plan to get up before ass crack of dawn to head out and support him by riding along. It gives me a chance to ride my new bike, and I get to be there for a friend. Win-win!
