How It Felt: The run did not feel great. My body felt tired. My lungs felt tight and scratchy. I got side stitches halfway through the run the didn’t go away. Bleh!
Commentary: I. Am. Ex. Haust. Ed. I feel like I could fall asleep right now (it’s 9am) and easily not wake up until tomorrow. I’ve been eyeballing my cubicle, looking for the best way to nap.
I know this exhaustion is my own fault. I should have slept more over the weekend. Instead of staying up late watching TV I should have gone to bed. Instead of getting up early on Friday I should have slept in. But I didn’t!
I told my personal trainer that I’m taking the rest of the week off. That way I can still do my runs and get a wee more rest. Tonight I plan to be asleep by 8pm at the latest. It’ll still be plenty light out, but a Buff over my eyes will make it plenty dark enough for me to sleep.
