Good times

Date: 4/10/21
Training Day: 78
Miles: 5.3
Time: 60 min
Shoes: Brooks Adrenaline GTS 21
Weather: Sunny, high-30s

How It Felt: Running outside is waaaaay different than the treadmill, I don’t care what anyone says. But the run was great!

Commentary: Although I can’t run long distances by the canal, it was still so nice to run on a dirt path instead of concrete or asphalt.

And I love our new house! It is so nice to not be in an apartment. We turned up the volume on the TV without worrying about bothering other people. There is so much room in the kitchen we don’t need a pantry like we did in the apartment. And I love how much built in storage there is!

But even though we just bought a house and started to move it, that doesn’t mean the adventures stop! The floor guy stopped buy to give us a quote on redoing our floors, and then I jumped in the car to head east.

The crew from the hot springs tour met up at a brewery for lunch. Then we hit a cidery and another brewery before going to see a band in Jackson, WY. Good times were had by all, and some of us may or may not have had too good a time, lol.

That being said, I feel like I’ve fallen off the wagon as far as training goes. Sure, I do my workouts and get enough sleep, but I am drinking more often and have not been fueling my body well. Like what’s the point of going vegan and hiring a running coach if I’m going to be unhealthy? It’s time to get my ass in gear again!
