Weird pace tracking
Date: 2/18/21
Training Day: 27
Miles: 2.6
Time: 30 min
Shoes: Brooks Adrenaline GTS 21
Weather: N/A (indoors on a treadmill)
Strength Training: Shoulders
How It Felt: Shoulder workout felt good! I actually feel like I’m getting stronger! The run was pretty good, and my knee felt alright!
Commentary: Looked at some reviews on the Garmin Coach thing, and it seems folks tend to be pleased with the results. I’m pretty excited about it.
My run today was based off time, not mileage. It started with a five-minute warm up, then 20 minutes of easy running, and a five-minute cool down. The weird thing is the watch determines my pace off my arm swing. Makes sense because it’s on my wrist, but I could make the “perceived pace” change just by swinging by arms faster or slower. All without touching the treadmill speed.
Anyway, my personal trainer already changed my training schedule, and I have my second leg workout on Sunday.
Other than that, I went up and down the stairs at work a shit ton. Oh, and I ate 20 Oreos today because we did an Oreo tasting at work like fat kids. No ragrets!
