Training Day: 18
Shoes: Brooks Adrenaline GTS 21
Weather: Smokey skies, high 50s
How It Felt: Yet again, another great run! Makes me think not working is better for my running, lol.
Commentary: Ha! I finally must be doing something right because my watch said my training was productive today! Confetti!
Looking at the trend of my stress score on my watch shows that I am a lot more relaxed at my dad’s. Back when I had my Fitbit it revealed the same thing with heart rate variability. Perhaps the extra relaxation has improved my running?
Or is it that my dad’s is 400 feet lower in elevation? Or because I’m up for over an hour before starting my run instead of starting it ten minutes after rolling out of bed? Or is it because running in the woods makes me way happier than running next to a river or canal in the middle of a city?
Who knows! I certainly don’t! But I am feeling pretty fucking good about my running right now. And I hope this goodness continues when I get back to Idaho Falls.
