Different weights/resistance

Strength Training: Biceps & forearms

How It Felt: Meh. Still have working my forearms. Still bored with this workout. Added a few extra exercises to make myself feel better.

Commentary: I’ve noticed that different cable machines have different resistance, and therefore, the weight used feels different on each machine.

At one of the Anytime Fitnesses I go to, there is a cable machine that makes me feel like a god. The weight prescribed by my personal trainer feels easy and effortless. I go to another machine, and it feels like I’ve never worked out a day in my life.

How are you supposed to know how much weight you’re pulling, pushing, lifting or what have you? How am I supposed to track my progress when I go to different gyms?
