Training Day: 57
Training: Back and shoulders
How It Felt: I kicked the shit out of my shoulders, and it felt great! Only did a few back exercises, but they felt pretty good too.
Commentary: Today was the local trail running club’s spring social. Originally, I planned to go and run the half marathon. But because of my knee I decided to walk the 5k. Last night I realized that I’d be walking a 5k at the same place I ran ten miles two weeks ago. The thought depressed me, so I stayed up late and binged The Flight Attendant.
I felt like I should have done more this past week. It’s like without running I have no reason to be on top of my shit. I haven’t been eating as well. I’ve been going to bed later and sleeping in. I haven’t been drinking enough water.
Monday I plan to start fresh and get my shit together. Back to two workouts a day, give days a week!
