How It Felt: The run went great! I’m feeling really good during the runs these days, probably because I slowed down the pace. The ab workout was an ab workout. I also did some yoga, and it felt sooooo good!

Commentary: I have now been running five days a week for an entire month. This might not seem like much of an accomplishment. However, every other time I’ve started running again, my knee would be hurting so bad by week three I’d have to stop. So here’s to running without knee pain!

My yoga is also progressing nicely. When I started back up again three months ago, I was so not flexible and my balance wasn’t all that great. But tonight I palmed the floor in forward fold – even with tight hamstrings. And I stood firm and tall in tree pose.

All this running, working out and doing yoga is paying off. Seeing and feeling the benefits is pretty damn rewarding too.

That’s right, I’m a T-Rex, and I’m invincible!
