Easy-ish run

Date: 10/28/21
Training Day: 45
Miles: 2.8
Shoes: Altra Paradigm 5
Weather: High 30s

How It Felt: Pretty darn good!

Commentary: For a second time my watch said my VO2 max was 46! I know, this number is still not that impressive in the grand scheme of things, but it is to me.

I’ve noticed that I feel much better when I pick up the pace a little, so I did during this run. I had my heart rate right at or a wee above 150 bpm, which, according to my running coach, is as high as I should go my easy runs. Then I notice his note in my training plan for the week, and it says I should keep my easy runs plenty easy since it’s taper week.
