Commentary: Summer in Idaho is amazing. Warm (sometimes too warm), sunny days are seem endless, snow melts in the mountains (some/most of it), and there is much fun to be had.
Although I love summer more than anything, the shoulder seasons are pretty fantastic as well. I love the cool (sometimes downright cold) temperatures in the morning and the mildly warm temperatures in the afternoon.
Sure the sun rises later and sets earlier. But I get to bundle up and hang out without a sweatshirt in the same day. In town that is. I can do this in the high mountains in summer as well.
Anywho, it was quite chilly this morning, and the chubb on my thighs and chicken wings turned into ice packs. However, this girl drank a wee coffee this morning! And my performance condition was the same as Monday’s when I drank coffee before my run!
