Time: 30 (HIIT)
Strength Training: Chest
How It Felt: The HIIT workout was okay, but it didn’t get my heart rate up as much as I’d hoped. Chest workout was the same as last week, so boring but good.
Commentary: I miss running. I miss how strong I felt after intervals or a long run. I miss being able to stuff my face all day with no guilt. Most of all, I miss having a goal to work towards.
Since I have no idea when I’ll be able to run again, I need a new goal. As lame as it might seem, my new goal is get my body fat to less than 20 percent. Maybe even lower. And I’m not talking about starving myself and working out like crazy. I’m talking about a shit ton of strength training, aerobics, and eating better.
Running 100 miles is still my ultimate goal though, and I am not giving up! Oooo, and I have my first physical therapy appointment on Friday!
